1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
1 clove crushed garlic
1 teacup milk
100 grams (4 oz.) grated cooking cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Pieces of toast to serve
1. Melt the butter in a vessel; and the garlic and fry for 1/2 minute.
2. Add the flour and fry again for 1 minute.
3. Add the milk and go on stirring and cooking until the mixture becomes thick.
4. Reduce the flame, add the grated cheese gradually and go on stirring.
5. Finally, add very little salt and pepper.
Serve hot with pieces of toast.
