New Delhi : A delegation of 46 doctors from Pakistan is in India to attend a two-day conference on Homeopathy to be held at Nainital.
The delegation arrived by train amidst a grand welcome by Indian doctors here on Thursday. They expressed their gratitude at the reception and wished that such bondage would bridge goodwill between the neighbouring countries.
"We got a nice reception here in India. Everyone has treated us with love and affection here. We shall also organise such seminars and invite Indian doctors," said Dr. Mohammad Amir, a visiting doctor.
"We live far away, but we should share our knowledge. Homeopathy is getting recognition the world over, so we want to learn something about homeopathy and share knowledge so that humanity is served," said Dr. Nadeem Chaudhary, another delegate.
The organisers of the conference appeared extremely pleased to receive their counterparts from across the frontier.
"We are very happy that such a big delegation has come to India from Pakistan. All Government agencies helped to get the visas made. We hope to have a very good interaction by way of this conference," said Dr. A.K. Sood of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital
The main objective behind the conference to be held on July 14 and 15 is to facilitate sharing of ideas and experiences between doctors across the border. (ANI)
