David Hackl to direct ‘Saw‘ 5 and 6

Melbourne -- Rumours are rife that gory horror film franchise ‘Saw‘ is set to come up with its fifth and sixth instalment in the near future.

According to magazine Bloody Disgusting, Saw 5 and Saw 6 will reportedly be directed by David Hackl, who was earlier expected to direct the upcoming Saw 4, Moviehole reports.

Hackl worked as production designer and second unit director in Lionsgate‘s Saw 2,3 and 4, which were directed by Darren Lynn Bousman.

Meanwhile, Saw 4 is scheduled for a release on October 26 this year.

The film stars actors Tobin Bell, Scott Patterson, actress Betsy Russell, actors Costas Mandylor, Lyriq Bent and co-creator James Wan and Leigh Whannell have returned as executive producers. (ANI)
