‘Kya Love Story Hai’….the debut movie of some Lovely Singh didn’t do that well on the box office and proved to be a big bore. Lovely name, but a total bakwaas…. I wonder what did Lovely find so lovely about the script and went ahead and made a movie…common Lovely puttar, this is the modern era and cinema is progressing and becoming sophisticated with every passing day…then why such a blunder?
If any of you want to go ahead and watch the flick, then better leave your brains at home, because it has neither got head, nor tails nor any middle. These kind of movies are on the verge of vanishing from the Indian cinema, and besides, after substance movies like ‘Water’, ‘Eklavya – The Royal Guard’, ‘Black Friday’, The Namesake’, etc, who would like to go for such crappy stuff?
After watching the movie, I kept wondering what came across Lovely’s mind to make such a movie and star those two geezers. Tusshar Kapoor needs to improve his acting skills, and besides, in such a challenging league, he doesn’t seem to exist anywhere. As far as Ayesha Takia is concerned, the cute damsel too needs to improve in every sphere. After watching ‘Dor’, we all thought that now you will pick your movies safely, but why are you going back in the past and doing blunder with career?
With just a pocket of flicks, the two stars haven’t proved their worth as yet and I wonder if they ever would.
Jeetendra was labeled as the ‘jumping jack’ in his times and I believe not even his son can fit well in those white shoes. He simply does not have half the rhythm in his body that his father had.
The music is intolerable and a pain in the ear….something least expected from Pritam, who gave us great peppy numbers like ‘Dhoom Macha Le’.
And you dear reader, I’m sure you get the drift. Don’ let anyone spoil your Lovely day!
