Which college to go for ?

My cousin, Bhupinder appears for boards (12th) next year and he wants to become a doctor. Resident of Amritsar, he feels GMC, Amritsar is the best one. He would be appearing for Medical entrance exam next year.

Anyone here can advise of what college to go for, if he makes through and is in position to exercise his choices ?
