Can you justify an American attack on Iran?

US is planning to attack Iran if it does not stop its plans of going nuclear.
I think it is not a peace procedure but an instrument for creating panic and fear.
Thousands of people died in Iraq. Nothing has been achieved there. I think war is not a solution to any problem.
