It’s time to stop twiddling thumbs. Apple has done it again and plans to surprise us with another super device the “9.7 inch iPad Pro” that will start from Rs. 49,900 (32GB model) and will go up as high as Rs 85,900 for its 256 GB model. Is it worth the price to pay for the cellular data in 9.7 inch iPad Pro?
Apple has a few iPads on sale so what should make a person reach out for the 9.7 inch iPad Pro instead of the 12.9 inch iPad Pro? The 12 inch device starts from Rs 59,599 as compared to the 9.7 inch iPad Pro at Rs 49,900. It’s your comfort level with the device that needs to be the purchase ruling factor. Compact and not too cumbersome, spells the 9.7 inch iPad Pro. If it’s the budget constraint that rules the purchase then you may need to be the proud owner of the iPad Mini 2 or iPad Mini4.
Educated guesses say that the iPad Pro (9.7inch) has the same “fast running” hardware as the large iPad Pro. Can we safely say that the 9.7 inch may be faster in a way after all it has lower resolutions? The 9.7 inch owner is going to be lucky enough to get the same speakers as the large iPad Pro model. The multitasking 9.7 inch iPad Pro will have 2GB of RAM and Apple’s A9X chip, though an increase of RAM would have definitely been more appreciated for a professional model.
You can now record fabulous videos in 4K and boast of the best display relying on “true tone technology” . A 12 MP iSight camera is definitely useful but the price seems to be a little on the higher side as any accessory thrown in such as the Keyboard or the pencil means an additional cost of Rs 24,000 to the whopping Rs 49,900. But if you are not going to get these two accessories then you may be better off with an iPad Air 2. The 12.9 inch iPad Pro on the other hand is awesome with the great sound and gorgeous display. You can get the base 32 GB model with the A9X chip and 4GB of RAM, but you still need the “Pencil” and ‘Keyboard” to perform the best! Won’t a laptop do better? Any suggestions?
