Women with breast cancer need to start their day with a tall glass of fresh carrot juice to live healthy and cancer-free life. In one of the clinical studies it shows that eating carrots daily can slow down the risk of developing breast cancer by more than half or 60 per cent.
A recent research from Breast Cancer established that women who intake high levels of vitamins called ‘carotenes’ normally found in carrots and peppers faced a much lower risk of developing breast cancer as compared to women who had less carotenes. The consequences of the chemical carotenes was studied in clinical studies and the researchers concluded that it cuts down the growth of cancerous cells in the breast. This research has been discovered by scientists after comparing regular diets of 3,000 European women with and without breast cancer. They also suggest that two type of carotene- alpha carotene and beta carotene, both are beneficially effective.
Senior research communications officer at Breast Cancer now in UK, Richard Berks stated, “It is well-known that a healthy diet including carrots can help to lower your risk of breast cancer because it helps to maintain a healthy weight. Berks further stated that while it’s really important to eat vegetables as part of a balanced diet, unfortunately, there is no such thing as a superfood when it comes to breast cancer risk”.
“Everyone can reduce their risk of breast cancer and many other diseases through healthy lifestyle choices – such as maintaining a healthy weight, having a varied and balanced diet, being more active, and limiting your alcohol intake”, he says. Fight breast cancer by adding bugs bunny therapy to your daily diet.
