A teenager of Indian origin, the 15 year old, Arshpreet Chahal, who studies in class 9th, has been declared the winner of the “Miss Teen Canada Petite Globe 2015” pageant that was held in Toronto. She was declared the winner of the competition out of almost 70 girls.
According to the Voice online, On August 22nd, in Toronto, Arshpreet Chahal, a student of Vancouver’s John Oliver Secondary School, was declared the winner at the competition for the National finals organized at the Richmond Hill Centre of Performing Arts.
The pageant was held from August 12th -23rd in Toronto. There were a number of promotional activities that were organized by the authorities and all 70 girls took part in this before the formal competition of the National finals. Last year in December, Arshpreet who was selected as a National finalist stated, that it was tough competition that she faced at all stages and it was no easy job winning the pageant title, reports the Times of India.
An ardent animal lover, Arshpreet exclaimed “It required hard work and maximum effort,” to win. The pageant’s official website has announced that the young winner has claimed that she is very fond of English and plans to become a lawyer some day. The website further claims further that Arshpreet “plays basketball, soccer, and field hockey and is working as a freelance model.
