While on one side Anna's health is deteriorating day by day, the parliament session held on Wednesday night has brought the entire protest to square one.
Anna Hazare, who is leading a crusade against corruption by demanding a strong Lokpal (public Ombudsman) Bill, flagged off a rally in Mumbai in which thousands of Mumbaikars shouted slogans against corruption and demanded a strong Lokpal Bill.
The six week monsoon session, starting on Monday, has already put the government and the opposition on the warpath as a lot of controversial issues have to be discussed during the session.
The anti-corruption crusade in the country gained momentum following the social activist Anna Hazare’s indefinite hunger strike in support of the Jan Lokpal Bill.
