Punj Lloyd Group bags five solar projects from Punjab government

Punj Lloyd Group, the global engineering, procurement and construction conglomerate, has won five prestigious solar power contracts from Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) on complete turnkey Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) basis.

These solar power plants will be set up in five locations in Punjab; these include Golden Temple in Amritsar, Durgiana Mandir in Amritsar, and Punjab State Assembly, Punjab Raj Bhawan, and Punjab Civil Secretariat in Chandigarh.

Brief about the projects
The work involves designing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of solar power plants including operation and maintenance for the next ten years at all locations.

The capacity of plants will vary from 45 kWp to 11 kWp. The total solar photovoltaic capacity of the plants will be 106 kWp.

The projects are scheduled to be executed over a period of six months. The contract will be executed by Punj Lloyd Group's renewable energy division.
