New Delhi, July 27: In an incident that created a huge uproar, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti threw a mike at the speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly today.

Mufti gets angry
According to Mufti, she was not given enough time to express her views over the case.

"I took on the Speaker as he was ordering PDP MLAs out," she said. "We did nothing wrong. Speaker was at fault.”

She blamed the state government for not taking interest in discussing the issue.

"The government is trying to protect the killers involved in the Shopian rape and murder case," she told reporters outside the assembly.

Along with her party members, Mufti even staged a ‘dharna’ outside the legislative complex protesting the Shopian murder incident.
