As per the recommendations made by DIAC, those wanting to visit Australia along with their family around Christmas must lodge their visa applications before November 6 this year to avoid any disappointments later on.
Every year, a large number of people file their visa applications for visiting Australia during the Christmas. But, during this peak period of visitors willing to visit Australia, DIAC says it is left with no option but to cancel the visa applications of a number of people who are late in filing such applications.
Meanwhile, DIAC has stated that it does not intend to disappoint any one intending to travel to Australia especially during Christmas holidays.
Moreover, it will make its utmost efforts to process all the applications received after the recommended date, i.e. November 6, at the earliest.
However, it has made it clear that applications received after the recommended date are unlikely to be processed earlier than December 25 which happens to be the Christmas Day.
People requiring any medical examinations including chest X-ray or other former medical examination are likely to face delays in processing of their family visa applications, quipped DIAC.
The DIAC has clearly stated that there is no guarantee at all of the successful processing of any visa application lodged for visiting Australia, irrespective of the fact whether the application is made before or after the recommended date by the department.
