Mumbai, July 19: The US Secretary of States, Hillary Clinton has stressed for an immediate action from Islamabad against those behind the 26/11 attacks. Showing concern over a long delay by Pakistan, Clinton said there has been no trial and no justice till now.

Hillary said she looked forward to a commitment for providing justice for 26/11 victims and a judicial probe against the terrorists involved in the terror attacks in Mumbai.

Pak must act against LeT, JuD- Hillary Reiterating the need for a commitment to end terrorism, Hillary said she wants Islamabad to destroy terror groups including Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jammat-ud-Dawa. “We believe they have to be rooted out, they must be defeated, they must be dismantled. We say that clearly, we will continue to do so,” said Clinton.

Clinton said that by choosing to stay in Hotel Taj, she wants to give a clear message to the terrorists that despite their terror activities, they could not, in any way, destroy the spirit of people.

While expressing America’s solidarity with India during the Mumbai terror attacks, Clinton said, “This hotel in this city suffered grievously and endured painful losses because of the extremists and violence visited on it. “The great men and women who worked in this hotel and elsewhere in the city... helped save lives… they deserve our gratitude.”

The message from the US Secretary of State seems quite clear. It means that US will not tolerate any further delay by Pakistan in stern action against the perpetrators involved in 26/11 terror attacks.
