Indian youth killed in Australia
The reports say that Rajveer was attacked in his house in Brisbane on Aug. 8. He was brutally thrashed and strangulated before he was thrown near his house.
The family came to know about Rajveer's injuries and death on Friday night.
Kulwant Singh, father of Rajveer who owns a grocery shop, alleged that his son had died on Aug. 8, but the Australian authorities deliberately put him on a ventilator in order to hide the issue.
Rajveer had gone to Australia in December, 2007. He had completed his hotel management course from an institute in Melbourne and later settled in Brisbane. At present, he was working in a restaurant.
The family has demanded the Indian Government's intervention into the matter.
Member of Parliament Manish Tewari from Ludhiana asserted that he had taken up this matter with the government and demanded to send the body of Rajveer to his family, immediately.
