The top military US Commander Admiral Mike Mullen visit to India led to discussion of issues concerning terror attacks by Pakistan based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) by Indian Army. As stated by a media report, the army fears a terror attack during the Commonwealth games at New Delhi.

The issues were discussed with Mullen during his meeting in New Delhi, The Sunday Times reported.

Further, the US Commander left for Islamabad yesterday evening.

Reportedly, LeT, the main accusers behind 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, joined forces with Taliban to kill western soldiers in Afghanistan.

“A very dangerous organization and a significant regional and global threat"- Mullen
On discussing the terrorism issues related with LeT, Mike Mullen said that LeT is “a very dangerous organization and a significant regional and global threat.”

He even urged the need to take a firm action to stop LeT activities and agreed with the statements of US Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton about the presence of Osama bin Laden and other al-Qaida leadership in Pakistan.

As quoted by The Times Of India, Mullen said, "They are hiding in a very secure place and it is very difficult to trace them.”

He even raised questions regarding Pakistan’s action against Haqqani network, the most lethal network faced by US-led-international forces in Afghanistan.

The main issue troubling the leaders was the growing network of LeT in Pakistan and other regions around it.

“I have watched since 2008 the LeT move to the West, getting more active in the region and engaging more with other terrorist groups. It heightens our concern as it is not only confined to the region but has global inspirations,” Admiral Mike Mullen said while addressing media at the residence of US Ambassador.
