Chlorine gas leak in Mumbai kills 3, sickens 60
Out of the 60 admitted, six people are critically ill.
The victims were taken to the Sir Jamshedjee Jeejeebhoy hospital and most of them are complaining eye burning and respiratory problems.
The leakage took place near the Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Advance Maritime Studies. Fourteen students of the institute have also been sent to the hospital for treatment.

The fire officials told the sources that the leakage took place from the chlorine cylinders that are lying in the area for over past 25 years.
Uday Tatkare, chief fire officer, confirmed that over 104 chlorine cylinders that have been lying in the area for the past 25 years have been seized by customs officials.
The incident happened when one of the gas cylinder, 'turner,' which weighs around 615 kgs corroded and eventually led to the deadly gas leakage.
Harmful effects on health
Exposure to chlorine gas may cause nausea, vomiting, headache and dizziness. If someone is exposed to a high chlorine concentration atmosphere for a long time, he may lose consciousness and even die.
Residential buildings in the area have been temporarily evacuated till the situation comes under control.
