The report was prepared on the basis of his 2 days visit to assess the entire 47.25 km long Buddha Nallah along with the Punjab Pollution Control Board officials.

A detailed project report to be prepared
Badal has asked Dr. Joshi to prepare the detailed protect report for the biological cleaning of the Nullah.

He also instructed his Principal Secretary DS Guru to inspect the Buddha Nullah along with the team of SERI.

He called the Principal Secretary Industries & Commerce, Chairman PPCB and Chief Engineers Canals and Drainage to discuss the project in a wider perspective.

Further, Badal asked Guru to explore the possibility of channelisation and elongation of the banks of Buddha Nallah which will in turn help in the implementation of 'Green Bridge' technology by avoiding over flooding of water during monsoons in the area.
